Kim Desai
Kim Desai: director, qualified as a chartered accountant in 1971 and obtained an MSc in business from City University in 1973. He became a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2000.
He specialises in corporate tax planning, particularly international tax for multinational companies and structuring tax-efficient financing for small to medium-sized companies. Prior to joining us, he had worked closely with the firm as head of taxation and a member of the Treasury team at Tioxide Group Plc, and international chemical group (turnover in excess of £500m) where he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer. He has had extensive experience of international tax planning in a number of countries, including the USA, South Africa, Far East and the European Union and in setting up management information systems and finance generally.
