Kevin Offer
Kevin Offer was educated in Hastings and at the University of East Anglia.
He formerly worked for various chartered accountancy practices in Kent and Central London including Stoy Hayward, where he started to specialise in taxation.
He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a chartered tax advisor and, in 1999 became one of the first group to qualify for membership of the Institute of Indirect Taxation by examination. He is also a member of the VAT Practitioners Group and the International Tax Planning Association.
Kevin covers all areas of taxation although has a particular interest in the taxation of high net-worth individuals, sportsmen and entertainers. He also handles a large amount of VAT work, particularly in relation to cross-border transactions. Recent work has included the negotiation of reduced withholding tax in relation to a major sporting event held in the UK, taxation under the new regime for individuals domiciled outside the UK and the VAT treatment of US businesses trading with Europe.
