Arnold Sherman
Arnold Sherman, our Canadian associate, has specialised in international tax for forty years. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the United Kingdom in 1954 and moved to Canada in 1956.
He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Chartered Institute of Taxation, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel, and the Taxation Institute of Australia.
He has spent much of his career in charge of the tax function of multinational corporations and was based in Brazil from 1968 - 70 and in Monte Carlo from 1977 - 80. He has been in independent practice in Calgary since 1982, and specialises in Latin America, Africa and the Far East, having personal experience of the tax systems of over sixty different countries. He is fluent in Portuguese.
